Brevard County Swim Clubs

I have been receiving a few requests for information on the club swimming teams here in Brevard County.  I've had a couple emails and a comment posted to the blog asking who are the club teams, who are the coaches and how do I contact them?  I've even noticed in the site statistics that people are navigating to the site looking for club team information.

In response to these queries I contacted all club teams and requested the basic information needed to help potential swimmers find a club team in the area that meets their needs; Club Name, Coaches, Practices, Programs, Fees, Contacts, Website.

Please keep in mind this is not an endorsement for any club team or program. This is also not a ranking of local club teams. This is only intended to provide interested parties with information about swim clubs in Brevard county. Attempts were made to contact all swim teams. Some teams chose to participate, others declined, and some did not respond.

These are the club teams that I am aware of currently operating in Brevard County.  I have noted below if the information was provided by the team or is based on my own understanding.  If I have missed anything or the information is inaccurate please let me know and I will correct it as soon as possible.  You can post feedback via comment to this posting or send an email to

  1. I think it is funny that Mike Rochelle is posting diving classes as an AAU program and says that they compete in AAU meets. This man is a frauld and is not a qualified diving coach. His commited divers from Westshore accually train with a more experienced diving coach. We have been to plenty of AAU divng meets throughout the years and have never seen Mike Rochelle at any of them.

  2. It really is sad that you have to be such a negative bitter person. My child has been with Coach Mike for many years and is a very successful swimmer. Coach Mike runs a business, he can't personally coach every group all the time. Successful business people hire other qualified people to work for them when they can't do it all themselves.
Your ridiculous comment that Coach Mike has a more qualified diving coach work with the team, proves that he is responsible and professional.

Grow up and get over your jealousy.

  3. To the person who clearly is trying to hurt Mike ...
    1) You do not know anything him or the team 2) You have no idea of his qualifications 3) Your intent is to purely hurt him and what he is trying to do within the community.

So, in response to your claims ...
    1) No, he has not actually competed at any meets because his divers either 1, do not desire to do so or are not ready to do so. Otherwise, they would!

    2) Qualifications ... I personally know he is very qualified and anyone that wants to know his qualifications, ask him!

    3) His divers at West Shore are free to practice with whomever they desire, but I know that they mostly only practiced with him. Now, if since last season they are working with someone else, then that may be.

So, whoever you maybe, get a life. Or at least back up your claims!! As you are clearly showing your ignorance!!!!!!!
